Our doctors, Isioma Anizor D.D.S. and Helios Houenou D.D.S. are a husband and wife dental team and have over eighteen years combined experience and skill in dentistry.  They use this experience and skill to serve the community in two convenient locations, Lawrenceville and Stone Mountain.  They have two children, ages three and seven, and they feel a deep commitment to improving access to dental services for the children of others.  This is one reason why our doctors volunteer their services in collaborating with colleagues abroad, helping them improve access to dental care for children in developing nations.

About Dr. Anizor

Dr. Isioma Anizor grew up in Toronto Canada, and graduated in 1996 from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  She then went on to graduate with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan in 2000.

Her professional interests include pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics.  She is licensed to practice dentistry in Georgia, Virginia, Massachusetts, Indiana and Canada.  Dr. Anizor is a member of the following organizations:

• Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation
• Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce

Her personal interests include travel, foreign films, music and reading.

About Dr. Houenou

Dr. Helios Houenou grew up in the French-speaking country of Benin, and graduated in 1991 from the University of Dakar with a University Diploma of Medical Technology in Biology.  He then held a position as a research lab technician at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina, in the Neurobiology and Anatomy department.  Dr. Houenou proceeded to graduate in 1993 from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.  He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan in 1998.  After graduation, Dr. Houenou completed a one year general practice residency from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, where he received extensive surgical training.

His professional interests include implant dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, removable and fixed prosthodontics (dentures, crowns, and bridges).  He is fluent in six languages and is licensed to practice dentistry in Georgia, Michigan and Ohio.  Dr Houenou maintains professional collaboration with colleagues internationally, and is a member of the following organizations:

His personal interests include travel, music, salsa dance, motorcycles, cooking, soccer and tennis.
